Serious Shit

I have something so serious to share. That I must, share. It is so serious that I kept thinking about blogging this.

So I have been using this pink one, Scottex, for like the longest time ever. The texture of the paper. The softness. The roughness. The size of each square. And the thickness of each ply. Just makes my below feels... so good! This is seriously not TMI. I am only describing the paper, dude. 

And each time that I am almost running out, I will buy like 2 or 3 packets of 10s, so that I have stock at home. If not, it will be a really sh***y situation. Lol, unintentional pun. 

Anyhoo, I have this luck with things where what ever I like, tend to be discontinued at some point or other. There was one time like I was so running out of toilet rolls, and I couldn't find them, and Boo also helped me looked for it in other supermarkets and below is an example of the conversation we had.

Him: Boo, your brand is Scottex right?

Me: Yes, boo. The one with puppy chasing the toilet roll picture wan.

Him: Here got many with puppy pictures, but none of them chasing toilet rolls.

Me: 😭😭😭 Then got how wan?

Him: (sends me a couple of other brands with puppies)

Me: No, they are not the same 😰😰

How am I gonna like wipe now?

So have to lah to succumb to using other types and I swear to you, my butt let out a sigh every time I used that other (not nice) wan. You must be wondering, "Then how does she use toilets outside?" 

You see, when I am outside, it is because I have no choice with the paper qualities outside, that my behind does not make a fuss. But at home, back in the comfort of home, there's no such thing as other toilet papers.

So, while my brand was being discontinued, every single time that I go to the supermarket, the paper household products lane was always being scrutinised. I must not give up searching for you! And lo and behold, after like months, they appeared on the shelves again! Haha, you would not want to know how many packets I bought that supermarket trip (my car boot was only that, that day). You should see how the people were looking at my trolley trolleys while we were heading to the car. I was sending them telepathic message, "I have a big family, like there are like, 50 people in my house." (walks faster)

But recently, out of the 4 supermarkets that are near to my home, only one supermarket have them on shelves. Oh noooooooo... not again 😓 So, Boo was like, why don't you try another brand just in case they really discontinue your brand? 

I was so reluctant. 

"But this one don't have puppy picture."

"But this one is only 1 ply. Why would someone use 1 ply?"

"But this one is so boring. No corak." Corak (Malay) = pattern.

But I caved in. And gave one of them a chance. 

I have been loyal to the pink one. Like I am talking about serious loyalty here. Heck, I am not even sponsored by them to promote their goodness. But the purple one, this Kleenex with no puppy whatsoever to entice me, this one is like, giving the pink one a run for her money!

And I just told Boo last night, I think I am starting to like this purple wan. Cos got bear on the paper.
