(Shoe) karma is a bitch!

I was at 1 Utama jalan-jalan cari pasal the other day with Boo. You know usually when we are back in Malaysia, we hardly get any leisure time. It is always about running errands or meeting family and friends. By leisure time, I meant, like sipping coconut juice under the coconut tree eating the coconut fried rice (eeeeks, does that even exist?) and doing the coconut dance. Ok, basically i meant me-time, doing nothing kinda me-time.

So yeah, that was the one day, that we were actually not running any errands. I was back in KL for only 50hours. Followed Boo on his layover. It was good to be back to rainy Malaysia. I missed the smell of rain. Anyhoo, so we got to the mall about 11ish, had brunch at this Nyonya gerai that is opposite McD and then we went to Maybank for Boo to run his errand. So oops, it was an errand day. I forgot. But it was an easy errand day because all we had to do was meet his customer relationship manager and she does the rest.

So after that was done and dusted, it was time to roam about. We stopped by the Osim's shop to buy the humidifier. uMist it is called. And because of the great sales spirit by this sales person named Amanda Lee (believe me, she was awesome), we not only bought the humidifier, but we also managed to relax on the new massage chair called uLove for like 3 rounds of 15mins each round. The massages were so gooooooood *snooooooooze*. And after the massage, she also prepared 2 cups of English breakfast tea (TWG tea it was, because the boss of Osim bought over TWG Malaysia and he also own part of TWG Singapore). She did not force us to buy uLove but we got a lot of information about it. They have trade-in purchase option (but too bad our 12yo Osim massage chair is in Abu Dhabi, bringing that back to Malaysia would have cost more). So anyhoo, after an hour there, we paid for our humidifier, which initially cost RM 298, but after discount from our Maybank cards, we only paid RM 59 for it 😋😋

Ok so after that, we walked about a bit more and before heading to Cold Storage for some groceries, we used the toilets near the Oval square (the name sounds weird, but it is at Oval part of 1U and it is like a big space, like a square with stage and stuff). Oh ya, this reminds me that I need to do a post about toilets in Malaysia 😒😒

So while I was in the toilet, nicely easing myself, a lady walked in and she must have the world's laziest feet. Her slipper/sandals/shoes, whatever foot wear she had on, was being dragged lazily to the cubicle next to me. I am not creeping you out with some Ju-On story that sort. There was nothing eerie about this lazy woman. And I was thinking to herself, why can't she angkat her kaki a bit more when she walks? Sheesh.

So when I got out from the loo, I cerita to Boo about this lazy feet person. And I even demonstrated to Boo to let him hear what I heard from the cubicle. I was wearing one of my favourite sandals that day. And karma hit me bad. Like real bad. Not even like 5 seconds after I finished my story, guess what? My. Sandals. Broke. 😢😢

The evidence, sobs

Don't bitch about others. It hits you back quick. Like, in 5 seconds 😓😓
