Supermarket Shopping

I was at the supermarket yesterday with Boo, doing the usual grocery shopping after a hearty good breakfast. We used the Entertainer coupon for this breakfast at #thecoffeeclubme. It was pretty worth it.

The Big Breakfast

The Big Breakfast costs AED 59. And with buy 1 get 1 free, technically it is 2 breakfasts for the price of AED 59. I said it was pretty worth it because the portion is huge but the scrambled eggs was so-so. I like my scrambled eggs slightly more fluffy (this one was completely dry). It was pretty worth it because the hash brown was crunchy and seasoned well, but the beef bacon was not. It was pretty worth it because the cumberland sausages were just the right texture, but the ciabatta toast was bluergh. It was pretty worth it because the button mushrooms were yum yum, but the tomatoes, well the tomatoes were ok too. You can actually get something like this in IKEA too, and for a fraction of the price. But it's ok, it's all about the ambience, ain't it?

After breakfast, we went separate way for a bit because I saw my favourite shop! F&F. It is a British Tesco shop, and the clothes are pretty decent. They have clothing selection for women, men, children. But somehow today I couldn't find anything to my liking. Just browsed through some tops and sleepwears and then text Boo to tell him I am done, so that we can meet at Geant.

Haha, the entrance to this supermarket is a wide range of electronics. Believe me when I say this, things that costs AED 5,000 per item, can be just sold as though they cost only hundreds. We were first greeted by Beats by Dr Dre headsets, that was like AED 2,000++. It was right at the entrance, arranged from floor up. Then there were Garmin gps devices, Nikon cameras, Google Chromecast dongles, and of course, MacBooks! I mean like, have you ever gone to a supermarket and then decide, oh yeah, I need a MacBook. Or, here's the MacBook, one done, now let's cross that off my shopping list. It's amazing what you find in this country, and that is why I love living in this country.

So we went on getting stuffs we need. Toilet rolls, bunnies woodchip, bunnies coriander, bunnies parsley, bunnies cabbage, and grapes for me, in addition to couple more things. I like to feed my bunnies fresh vegetables and fruits instead of hay and pellets. The toilet rolls that I like to use can only be found in this supermarket currently. I don't know what it is with Scottex rolls that just makes my bum so very contented. 

And no, I did not need a MacBook. That photo is to acah you only.

The rest of the day was pretty much relax and easy going. Boo had to work that night so he took a nap in the evening. I was reading couple of blogs, watching TV, annoying my bunnies, watching TV, doing laundry, watching TV, playing game on my phone, watching TV. You get my drift?
